Amazing tourist attraction, me and my coworkers went to visit this phone booth during our stay in Goldboro. Good times and we took amazing selfie pictures, highly recommended. Make sure to get there early in the morning there is line ups of tourists.

Amazing. I was very surprised to see an actual pay phone in this location. In the middle of nowhere in the country. It’s obviously not in a high traffic area now and I doubt it has been used for years but still exists. I can’t even imagine why it would have been here in the first place, unless there was a business here that warranted it. I would love it if somebody knew the answer and posted it here.
